BOCCHI THE ROCK! Re:Re:, the highly anticipated second part of the two-part recap films, hit theaters in Japan on August 9, 2024, following the first part's release in June. Soon after its premiere, the film's official website announced that the opening theme song is "Doppelganger," and the ending theme is "Re:Re:."
"Doppelganger," performed as the third song at Kessoku Band's first live concert, followed "Guitar to Kodoku to Aoi Hoshi" and "Ano Band." However, this performance wasn't shown in the anime. Now, fans can experience it as the film's official website is streaming a lyric video for "Doppelganger."

The TV anime adaptation of Aki Hamaji's four-panel manga series BOCCHI THE ROCK! aired for 12 episodes between October and December 2022. Crunchyroll has announced plans to bring the two recap films to theaters in North America.
About The Anime
Hitori Gotoh, known as “Bocchi-chan,” is an extremely introverted and shy girl who often starts her conversations with a hesitant “Ah...” In middle school, she began playing the guitar, hoping to join a band as a way for someone as shy as her to shine. However, without any friends, she spent six hours a day practicing guitar alone. As she became a skilled guitarist, she started uploading videos of her playing under the name “Guitar Hero” and dreamed of performing at her school’s cultural festival. Yet, she couldn’t find bandmates and entered high school without making a single friend. On the verge of becoming a shut-in, her life began to change when Nijika Ijichi, the drummer of Kessoku Band, reached out to her. From that moment, her daily life started to transform little by little...
