The manga adaptation of Petals of Reincarnation initially began serialization in Mag Garden's magazine Monthly Comic Blade, starting on July 2014. After the magazine had its last issue in September that year, the series has been running on the publisher's Comic Blade website. Its printed volumes have totaled more than three million copies; its latest volume, tankobon volume 20, is also planned to be published in Japan on August 7, 2024

STORY OVERVIEW

The "Branch of Reincarnation" allows one to gain talents from a previous life by cutting off one's own head.

The protagonist, Senji Touya, grew up being compared to his talented older brother and feels inferior because he is not talented at all . He has decided that studying is his last resort, and although he has enough academic ability to always rank within the top 100 in national mock exams, he is never satisfied.

One day, he witnesses his classmate , Haito Luo Buffet, a "Mawarimono" who gained talents from his past life through the "Branch of Reincarnation," fighting a serial killer.

Trailer And Visual

It's being made into an anime...I was not aware of it or even expecting it to be made into an anime, so when I heard about it, I felt like I'd been hit by a peashooter and now I'm still feeling that way.

First of all, I'd like to thank all the readers who have supported this work so far! I'd also like to thank the people who worked hard to turn it into an anime, and the many people who will be involved in the future!

However, the only thing I can do with the film adaptation is to provide settings and supplementary materials that are not included in the manga, and answer any questions that are asked. After that,I will trust and entrust the work to the production staff, work harder than ever on the serialization, and look forward to the film adaptation with excitement.
