The summary, preview scene cuts, staff details, and trailer for the first episode, "Ranma Has Come," of the TV anime Ranma 1/2, based on Rumiko Takahashi's original work, have been unveiled.

About the anime
The story of Ranma 1/2 follows Ranma Saotome, a skilled martial artist who, after falling into a cursed spring in China, transforms into a girl whenever he is splashed with cold water. To revert to his original male form, he must be doused with hot water. This unexpected change complicates Ranma's life, particularly his relationships with his fiancée Akane Tendo, who is unaware of his curse, and his rival Ryoga Hibiki, who also has his own transformation issue.
